- Yes Sets
- Using truisms to which the answer is yes. Stacking these realities, where each portion of the yes set requires the subject to answer yes, so that a yes outcome for the desired part is more likely.
E.G.: "You are sitting here and you can feel the temperature of the air. You can see that painting at the other side of the room and you are hearing the sound of my voice and that means you can relax easily and completely."
Note: You are sitting here - true kinesthetic statement.

You can feel the temperature of air - true kinesthetic statement.
You can see that painting.... - true visual statement.
You are hearing the sound of my voice - true auditory statement.
and that means - cause and effect.
you can relax easily and completely - the hypnotic command.
Typically in the beginning of the trance induction one starts with three to five "yes" pacing statements to one command leading statements and then as the trance (accepting the hypnotherapist's suggestions) gets deeper we can use fewer and fewer pacing statement for each leading statement.
